About UKOGL
The UK Onshore Geophysical Library (UKOGL) was established in 1994 and manages the archive and official release of 2D and 3D seismic data recorded over landward areas of the UK.
The Library operates as a registered charity, with the long-term objective of bringing all available UK onshore seismic data into secure archival storage, whilst providing efficient access to all interested parties such as:
- Oil and Gas Exploration
- Gas Storage, Mining, Coal Bed Methane Extraction
- Water Resources and Environmental Issues
- Planning and Engineering
- Academic Studies and Teaching Resources
